Watch as the last school year at Shull Elementary unfolds. One second of film was taken each day, to make the below movie.
Students and staff were given an interview question. Then they were placed with a peer to conduct an interview using the question that they were given. Below are the links to our school family interviews.
Students and staff learned about Touchstones/ Memory stones. They were then asked to create four memory stones that represent Shull. The images could be a favorite memory, or image that reminds them of Shull. Stones were created of a pizza to show a students favorite lunch. The playground swings, the Shull shark, and images of the students themselves were just a few of the images created. Each student and adult revived one stone to remember our school. Then one stone from each person was put together in a mural. The rest of the stones were given out the night of the art show. Below are images of the stones, and the mural.
The mural was created by glueing down each stone to the glass of a picture frame. Epoxy was then poured onto of the stones. Each student and adult chose a memory stone to have placed in this piece. The mural was revealed on the night of the school art show.
We had a great turn out at this years art show. It was great seeing everyone enjoying the evening. Below are photos from the evening.
